Hello and welcome to my first BLOG about survival. Let me tell you what I am not going to be spending a lot of time on with my blogs. I’m not going to be spending much time on the causes and reasons why there would be a need for survival techniques. For example, I am not going to be discussing “end of the world” scenarios like those suggested by: the Mayans, Nostradamus, 2012 theorists, the Bible’s “Book of Revelations” or other sources saying the end is near.
Suffice it to say, if something bad is going to happen (and I think it very likely it will) then you and your loved ones will want to be able to survive as best you can. Surviving might mean doing without all the comforts that we have grown accustomed to having at our disposal each and every day and that we often take for granted. Depending on what has happened (natural disaster, terrorist attack, war, martial law, etc…) the electrical grid, communication networks, sewage treatment, water supplies, transportation, fuel supply, food supplies, medical treatment facilities and government services (police, firemen, mail delivery, military, etc…) may no longer be available either in the short term (days and weeks) or for even longer (months, years and decades).
If you and your loved ones had to survive and thrive in such a situation wouldn’t you want to have a plan, supplies, tools, knowledge and skills put together BEFORE you actually needed to use them? That’s what I am going to be covering every week – sometimes once a day and other times at least once per week until I have exhausted every bit of knowledge and information that I can pass on to you.
Stay tuned – lots more to come!

Survival is a combination of preparedness plus a survival mindset. If you have the WILL to survive, the skills/knowledge to survive, as well as, some planning and preparation ▬ then you will ultimately survive. Don't wait until it is too late or your chances for survival will diminish accordingly. As always, good luck and know I am on your side. ~~ The Survival Guy
